Enter a Woman Pretty Enough

A new play by Diana Lynn Small that follows the adventures of twelve year old Cora on her school fieldtrip to a historic gold rush town in northern California. When her best friend fails to show up, Cora sets out to find her causing her to stumble upon a modern wild west. Her story plays in parallel to that of Judah, a gold minor who struck gold and love in 1849 and found himself on a dark and bizarre adventure.
The play takes place in California’s past, present, and future. There are meth men, bears, hangings, swimming lessons, booze, and knives falling from the sky. It is a story of man’s ruthless expansion and his unquenched appetite.
